According to Dr. Saba, the series of calls he had received from close relatives amidst the growing fear of the consumption of gizzard by the general public was what instigated this preliminary survey to ascertain the microbiological quality of this part of birds that have been a delicacy to some Ghanaians. Again, he emphasized on the conflicting reports of the media and that from the Foods and Drugs Authority (FDA) as another reason for his survey which he could described as that of an independent investigative body. Notwithstanding that,

Image
There seems to be lack of lecture theatres on the campus of UDS-NYC as students and lectures have to rush early to the lecture theatres in order to secure a class for their lectures. Biotechnology and Molecular Biology(BMB) level 100 and 300 respectively,  were both having lectures at the same venue and time  (4-8pm) but different courses. Unfortunately for the BMB students, their lecturer delayed and that caused them loosing the class to the level 100 students since their lecturer was present already. Friday January 31 2020, same incident occurred at the auditorium with same level of students. Once again the level 300's  were not fortunate again and had to leave the hall in search of a different lecture theatre. For the third time these same incident occurred on  February 04 2020 as fo
