YUMZAA FOUNDATION ORGANISES A MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
In contributing towards making the female world a better place, the Yumzaa Foundation in partnership with SMART NGO and the Northern Regional Girls Education Unit of the Ghana Education Service, on Saturday September 18, 2021 held a day Menstrual Hygiene Management workshop dubbed " Inspiring Leaders To Improve Personal and Menstrual Hygiene ". Participants included 50 female students and 5 teachers from 5 Junior High Schools, also in attendance were 5 volunteers of the Yumzaa Foundation and a representative from the Ghana Education Service. Participatory schools included; Bishop's R/C JHS, Zogbeli JHS Block "C", Choggu Nuri Islam and Tishigu Anglican JHS. Participants received a capacity building training to enhance their self confidence and self esteem as they serve as personal and Menstrual Hygiene Ambassadors at their various schools.
