The law maker for the people of Tamale North, Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini once made an assertion that, ‘‘communication is the world today, nothing gets done in today’s world without communication. Let the doctors brag but let them communicate wrongly about the prescriptions and about the risks that they do and the whole world would be in jeopardy…’’. Unfortunately, my experienced at the Tamale West Hospital says otherwise. On Wednesday, 13 th May, 2020, a friend suffered from chest pains and so found it difficult to grasp air. We rushed him to the hospital for treatment, I must say we were attended to with urgent attention at first sight. I am neither a nurse nor a doctor but I condemned the mode of communication used on the patience and those who brought the patience. The doctor wanted to ask for our friend’s medical history but our friend finds it difficult to grasp air to breathe in and out but it seems the learned doctor didn’t notice and became fury on the patience. With respect to the directive given to all universities to implement E-LEARNING, the national union of Ghana students, UDS-NYANKPALA chapter has a considerable suggestion for the school management to digest on. Google definesE-learning as a learning system that we can obtain through the internet using an electronic device. “E-learning is a training provided via a computer or other digital device, allowing technology to facilitate learning anytime, anywhere.” First of all, the quest of management to ensure that students continue to receive education even in these bizarre times is laudable and shows the extent to which management has the interest of students at heart.
