A 46 Year Old Nigerian Who Tested Positive For COVID – 19 In the Upper West Region Escaped from Self – Quarantine Has Been Arrested at his hideout in Wa by the Ghana police Service. Okafor Simon Chukudi has since been handed over to the COVID – 19 risk management team led by the Upper West Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih. He was on the run after his test result was communicated to him and he has reportedly not been cooperating with the COVID – 19 Risk management team. On Wednesday Okafor Simon Chukudi run away from his house where he was asked to self quarantine himself but went other way around and on Thursday a search party was launch to get the said 46 year old Nigerian by the police in the Region. The Sharing Education and Learning for Life Ghana (SELL PROGRAMME GHANA); a Non-Governmental Organization, embarked on a COVID-19 campaign dubbed "COVID 19 WORD ON THE STREETS" on Saturday April 04 2020 in Tamale the Northern region of Ghana. GES DIRECTORS GET RELIEF AFTER THE DONATION OF 11 ISUZU PICKUPS.

The upper west Region Education directorates get relief after receiving 11 Isuzu pickups donated by GETFUND to be distributed to the entire 11 district and municipal assemblies in the Region. Some few years ago the District and Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service in the upper West Region were using weak vehicles which make supervision difficult to the Directors in their various districts. The Directors cry to the Government and other benevolent organizations to come to their Aid as they are well not resource to do their work effectively. It is in line with their appeal the Government of Ghana head and has come to their aid by providing them with 11 Isuzu pickups to aid in their work. Miss Cisse crowned as the new Miss Amaraba queen of 2020  As part of the SRC Week celebration, it's an event dubbed "Miss Amaraba/Artiste night" which occurred on the Friday 13th March 2020 at the auditorium of UDS-NYC. The night was full of excitements, entertainment and sorrows as some of the contestants of the Miss Amaraba lost the right to the Crown. The program started at 10:30pm with Gadafi and Adel been the MC's for the night.  The judges for the night were introduced to the audience and the first display of the beautiful contestants got the whole crowd applauding them as they exhibited their dance skills in a choreography, they also showed cased their cat walk abilities in African prints which had the audience cheering the more for their favourite contestants.
