Excitement Mounts as UDS Nyankpala Campus Gears Up for SRC Executives Election

The University for Development Studies (UDS) Nyankpala campus is abuzz with anticipation as the upcoming election for the Student Representative Council (SRC) executives draws near. With a highly competitive race shaping up, students are eagerly awaiting the chance to cast their votes and have their voices heard.

The SRC executives hold a crucial role in representing the student body, advocating for their interests, and working towards the betterment of campus life. As such, the election of these leaders is a significant event that impacts the entire student community.

What makes this year's election particularly noteworthy is the remarkable array of candidates who have thrown their hats into the ring. Each aspiring executive brings a unique vision and skill set, promising an engaging and spirited campaign season. From aspiring presidents to vice presidents and various other positions, the competition is set to be fierce.

One fascinating aspect that cannot be ignored is the potential for history to repeat itself. In the 2019 SRC election, a female candidate emerged victorious, marking a significant milestone in the campus's political landscape. This historic win served as an inspiration and shattered stereotypes, proving that gender should never be a barrier to leadership. Many wonders if this year's election will once again witness a female candidate emerging triumphant, reinforcing the legacy of 2019.

The prospect of a repeat of this milestone has generated considerable excitement among students, encouraging more female candidates to step forward and assert their leadership capabilities. This demonstrates the positive impact that one election result can have on encouraging greater inclusivity and representation within the student government.

Prophet Eben Nti Boateng

Amidst all these queries, an alumni and a Pastor at the Fountain Gate Philadelphia Pastures, Tamale, whom has for the past three years have always given a word of Prophecy pertaining to SRC Elections and his words has never failed.

In the 2020 elections of executives, he spoke a word during one of his services at The Settled Place where he mobilizes over 100+ of students to fellowship. On that ground, he shared a vision of which he saw the then SRC president Mr. Christopher Otoo winning the seat. Fast forward 2021, he pronounced that Mr. Elijah would win the seat and during last year competition he pronounced again that the current SRC President was winning based on certain climatic factors and all these prophetic words came to reality and amused the people UDS Nyankpala.

Once again Prophet Eben Nti Boateng has shared a vision of which he had and according to him, there is a high possibility of history that occurred in 2019 repeating itself during this year's election, he however entreated that the only female candidate and her team must be vigilant to avoid been cheated.

In the spirit of healthy competition and student empowerment, the UDS Nyankpala campus prepares to witness an exciting and closely contested SRC election. The campus eagerly awaits the announcement of the next generation of student leaders who will champion their interests, lead with integrity, and strive to enhance the overall university experience.
